Wedding Show Display In Raleigh , NC

" Crystals and Pearls"

This extravagant display of glassware with dripping pearls and crystals became a favorite to many brides who came by our booth at the Simply Elegant wedding show. It was a show stopper indeed! Watching the facial expressions of not just the brides but their grooms as well really proved that they saw more than just wedding decor. Perhaps what they saw was something they had "Dreamed"

Stacked glassware and submerged florals! ENJOY : )

Setting Up!

Almost Ready

We didn't get to come in earlier like all the other vendors and setup or booth like we wanted to because we had weddings that whole weekend! so we had to stay up late the night before and pull it off! It was worth it!

Cary Wedding Show Booth Dispay

Modern,Unique, and Different all describe this table setting done for a wedding show in Cary,NC. Black and White themed weddings have been done over and over. Sometimes with a splash of another color to provide a POP! For the most part many of us have seen red as that pop color.

When I deiced to do this show I wanted to accent my black and white with a not so common color, so i chose purple. I figured it would give it a really clean but funky look! I Incorporated lots of floral composites in the design bringing a variety of textures and shapes. I also brought in these black manzeta sticks with hanging pearls for a little over the top drama!

Wedding Coordination Services

There are so many details into a wedding .So many to where you could really lose your mind. As a Bride it is ideal for you and your family to be stress free from all the behind the scenes events that take place during your wedding weekend.

Having your great aunt or good friend who’s never done a large wedding to direct everyone on where and how to walk won’t get the job done! I always tell my brides that I prefer them to pay for their coordination services to ensure them that everything is going to run absolutely flawless. Having top notch flowers and with tons of details everywhere from us and expensive vendors, without good coordination you can kiss the value of all those nice things GOODBYE!

Directing a wedding is no joke! You have to be prepared to make bold consistent decisions on where and how things are to be done . You must talk the event language and know how to answer to the bride ,vendors, wedding party, and all of the needy and out of town guest.

Being a wedding vendor I was exposed to the hardcore behind the scene happenings on what could possibly go wrong at a wedding. Those experiences really shaped and sharpened the coordination services I provide today that no degree could every teach you.

I have a large background in theater and have come to realize there’s just as much action in a wedding as there is in a large production ! YES people it’s a production! From the attendants attire to the music cues to the grand entrance of the bride and groom to the revealing of the getaway car! All these things must be done in a very professional and pristine way to give your guest the never ending wow factor! More and more brides are incorporating nontraditional details and tributes in there weddings to give It a more personalized look or touch. I encourage my brides to be different and think outside the box when it comes to the flow of their day. You have this one day to be the center of attention. Go for it !!

When coordinating weddings I am always accompanied by a team to make sure the TOUCH is aware of what’s going on in all the areas of The Ceremony, Cocktail hour, and Reception Hall. That way you and your guest are assured to walk in to a fully dressed room with all of the details and vendors in placed just like you dreamed.
If reading this blog has made you think twice about your special day. Give us a call and get what I call your wedding insurance!

August 17th Bridal Show

Creative Touch Designs has the pleasure of designing florals for Kate Foster with Kate Foster Productions.( katefosterprodctions.com ) Kate is a very renowned wedding planner in the area who has great and creative ideas for all of her events and designs. Here is is blog post posted by Kate about a wedding show she and i worked on together! ENJOY!

It was definitely a busy weekend for KFP. Rachel McClure was one of my very beloved interns working with me this summer. As a senior at NC State, Rachel was required to complete one large scale project as part of her internship. I chose the August 17th Bridal Show as her project.

Rachel underwent the challenge of working through design concepts with me and bringing the entire vision to life. I think most people would be surprised how much time and effort it takes to create a booth for a simple five-hour event. Rachel spent weeks doing research on an initial design concept that I requested, that unfortunately was simply not feasible. After starting completely over, she spent another two weeks bringing together all of the details. The final week of the bridal show, she had to devote her attention full-time to completing this project.

After all of the errand running, fabric sampling, flower ordering, sign printing, printing and RE-PRINTING, it finally all came together in what I believe was a beautiful display. Rachel accomplished the challenge of hearing a vision and bringing it to life for her "client".

All of her hard work was supported by our entire team the weekend of the show and I must thank everyone for their hard work and support. Thank you to Demitris for his continued creativity from the KFP Floral Division, thank you Lilly and Dan for your install help and thank you Melanie as well.

Our thoughts and best wishes go out to our team member, Cat Coley, who has been blessed with expecting a little one, and is experiencing the joys of morning/afternoon/night sickness :). We wish you a swift trimester and look forward to having you back with us soon!

Great work team!

A Peacock Affair for Two LOVE BIRDS !!

MAT AND JEWEL

and the Two became ONE..

The Ceremony took pace outside so I made these unique program fans

Giving Jewel tips on what and what NOT to do !

Quick note for all Bride to Be's: don't hold your bouquet at your chest level nor down at your knees! The purpose for it is to bring a creative handcrafted floral to your wedding attire and bridal look! Yes, your gown is important! You have paid lots of money for it and have waited so long to wear it! So don't cover the diamonds and rhinestones or beautiful details on your dress. A helpful reminder for you is to carry your bouquet right bellow your belly button area!

The bridesmaids carried green spider mums with white hydrangeas and peacock feather accents.
